Hey, I'm Rae.
I’m a Florida native, that currently resides in Los Angeles, California. I live by the mantra that I am enough and have everything I need to get to where I want to be. All that I embody, the tribe that I find support in, the challenges I face, and the things that make up the beauty of my identity are within my (She.LL). In showing the power of identity as a Black Queer Woman, my work exemplifies the power of Black self-image and the celebration of how we use our creative forms of expression.

Key expressions in my art include multimedia installations and acrylic paintings exploring optical illusions, circuitry, and immersive technology art experiences. I incorporate contrasting themes showing harmony within them such as technology and nature, movement and stillness, and feminine and masculine energy.

As an artist and multimedia creator, I have always had a passion for discovering new ways to challenge my technical and artistic skills, which has led to my exploration of virtual and augmented reality and cinematics, 3D development and graphics, and multimedia paintings and installations. I hope to use my passions for immersion and creative expression to push further physical and digital engagement with the Black community.
