Overview
How Do You Horror? is a playful documentary-style promo celebrating members of the LatinXorcists and their personal connection to the horror genre. As both Creative Director and Virtual Production Lead, I guided the narrative vision, coordinated cross-discipline teams, and ensured that creative storytelling and technical execution remained tightly aligned throughout pre-production and production.

Process
Creative Direction & Pre-Production

  • Defined the narrative tone, visual direction, and emotional arc of the documentary piece, grounding the team in a clear creative framework.

  • Established meeting cadence, deliverable expectations, and creative workflow structures for developers and studio technicians.

  • Facilitated cross-team communication by preparing creative briefs and translating client needs into actionable development tasks.

Virtual Production & On-Set Leadership

  • Reviewed technical and creative deliverables regularly, providing constructive, vision-aligned feedback to ensure cohesive storytelling.

  • Contributed to on-set decision-making by recommending practical elements and cinematic adjustments that elevated scene immersion.

  • Acted as the bridge between developers, technicians, and the client to maintain seamless alignment of technical execution and creative intent.

The final documentary promo successfully captured the individuality and community spirit of LatinXorcist through a dynamic blend of storytelling and visual experimentation.
